A Shirtless Tideby ~sashas

He has no shirt, because his shirt didn't come out right....and I was too lazy to draw it

I actually really like it. The inking came out well, to me. And the hair looks like it might be physically possible to style it that way... Also, it's at a slight angle, which I like. And, I drew this entirely with my tablet and painter, and usually I'm not very good if I don't scan in a physical sketch... I'll come up with a better design for his eye patch later....

You may color this if you like. Just give credit/link to me, as always.

=KyteGlory and I were talking about sharp ears... and came across the idea that there should be a character in my manga with an eye patch...yes, I know that may sound illogical.

Anyway, this is Tide. His father invented the zyphr, a flying machine which was supposed to run without any type of fuel. The plans for this machine were sold to the military for billions of dollars after his father died of a flying accident. You see, in the world of my manga, nothing can fly, not even birds. So the ability to fly is important.

Tide followed in his fathers footsteps and became an ingenious mechanic. He kept some of the plans on his own, to build a working flying machine. When he heard about Wick, a child who can use an umbrella fly, he quickly joined the military, who were after Wick. He advanced through the ranks quickly, and was soon known by other soldiers as 'the one-eyed wonder'. He has separate plans for Wick than the military. He's just using them, really.

Although quite skilled with machines, Tide doesn't work too well with other people. He becomes quite clumbsy in extremely social situations and breaks things

Also, he's easily irked while he's working. He will give anything to achieve his goals...
