A video of this work done in less than 60 seconds. [link]

The majority of this was done in photoshop cs3; I smoothed the image in Painter, using the blend tool. I rather liked doing the hair. Also, I just plain like doing lighting effects as I'm a bit obsessed with light in general >>

This is for the girls in back.

Ah, the obligatory colored picture of the year!

I love her expression. And the lighting looks fantastic, especially with all the details on the hair. Wow it's actually kind of weird to see non-colored pencil stuff from you. It's almost a different style. I love both though.

This is really awesome. Saw the video, it's cool to get that kind of insight into your technique. Definite +Fav and one of your better pieces this year in my opinion.

Har, I think I've already submitted my one colored work of the year, so this is actually extra XD

I'm elated you enjoy it. The hair was fun... sorta. It's the type of semi-obsessive work, I'm used too, but I'll take a break from wavy hair for a while : ) Yes, my color stuff has a very different mood from my black and white things.

Her eyes are rather captivating! Although, wouldn't there be more white in her left eye than the right because it's closer to the glow stick?
Other than that I like the soft glowy atmosphere to the picture in general.
