Artist's Comments

I was quite surprised by the feedback that I got on the work-in-progress of this. There were between 20-30 favs of it O.O Even though I had merely shaded but a small portion of the face and hair. And most of the details were not evident or drawn... so I finished it. It's usually quite strange for me to actually do a drawing over a couple days as I have been doing this one since I usually do a drawing within one day in one sitting... (I'm obsessive like that).

If you missed the comment on the WIP thingy, this is Toast, one of the characters from a short comic strip I make for myself between drawings, called Butter and Toast. I don't really post it anywhere. Toast loves all types of sweets and flavorful food, and he can easily be distracted by the plent aroma of food cooking. His sister, Butter, is a few crayons short of a full set--if you know what I mean, and can be distracted by virtually anything that moves or is pretty. So... they loose each other often. The style of the comic is less detailed and loopier than this drawing though.

I hope you enjoy it.

Edit: Yeah, I totally aware the hands too big XD Thanks for noticing though ^^.

Thank you so very very much for the DD~! I feel so special ^^

Your shading on pictures is just...incredible...and so is this! Are you prfessional? Because I wouldn't be surprised if you were!
Excellent work!

MOVED TO *white-angel-ariah SEE YA THERE!

It's really gorgeous and more than fulfills the potential of the WIP.

I wonder, do you use a straight edge or any other shaping edges (like circles) in your work, or do you do it all free hand?

Making fun of the powerful is Bravery, because they can make you pay for what you say. This is why Satire is the weapon of the Clever Courageous. Making fun of someone weaker than you are, that is merely Cowardice.

A few crayons short of a full set? Suuure, like a few apples short of a barrel; a few sandwiches short of a picnic; a few cards short of a full deck. XD

Ahhh, I'm reeeally glad you finished this one!! It's fantastic...!! Heheee, I like the popsicle.

Will we ever get to see these comics?
